Poplar/Aspen Tree Glass Mosaic Wall Art

With 3 different colours of leaves, matching brown edge and nice blue sky this piece is a beautiful one of a kind art work to hang in a bright area. The design of this piece is more along the lines of traditional mosaics in that I have used mainly randomly placed glass for the sky. Each leaf is 6 sections of hand cut glass (unlike my smaller mosaics where the leaf veins are usually painted on). 

This is a hand cut opaque stained glass mosaic. My mosaic wall art pieces start out as sketches that I use to make stencil designs. The stencil sections are traced onto opaque stained glass for cutting. I hand cut each piece of glass that are then painstakingly adhered to wood panels that I have cut, sanded and stained. The finished art is then grouted and hooked for display. This piece measures 16x26inches (40.6 x 66 cm).
